a bit about me
I'm a late-fifties, disabled Cornishman (MS).
I am a sporadic photographer, after a long career in various photographic gubbins-selling roles (read: knew a lot about the gear, and theoretically techniques, but didn't do much actual photography really), including an exciting time with camera manufacturer Minolta, eventually assimilated by Sony.
My photographic enthusiasm level fluctuates wildly. I am not your clichéd 'passionate photographer'.
Sometimes my posts will be pretty minimal. Title of picture, picture. Other times I have more to say.
I don't post all the gear and tech details for pictures—I just don't see the point and I get really, really bored with gear talk very quickly. I started talking about it for money in the early eighties, and finished in the 2010's. That's long enough of being a gear-head.
