A street scene looking at a whitewashed cottage that has steps leading up to an entrance door on the left, and on the right hand side a window with 'Brocante' written on it. In front of that on the cobbled street, as if waiting for someone inside the Brocante shop, stands a man with dark clothing and a beanie type hat, his hands clasped in front of him, holding a dog on a lead. on a lead. brumphpics

derelict gate

b/w

I wanted to start a blog for my photographs.

Using Scribbles makes sense for that purpose now that Vincent has added a large size pop-up view option when you click the image. To my thinking, this alone makes the platform more suited for photography blogs above the many other simple blogging services that are to be found now.

However, this is probably only true on higher resolution monitors on a desktop computer rather than your average portable device. Phones and tablets might actually show the pictures smaller in the new view because of now trying to show more page around the picture!

This one is a first trial post, just to see how it looks in practise. It's of a driveway gate to a derelict cottage, just a few hundred metres up the road from us here.

So go on, click on the picture to get it to be bigger in the new Scribbles... umm... bigger screen view thing. You don't have to though, it might already fill the screen as it is.
