ah... the photography blog is still here

I have neglected this blog, mainly because I've not been doing any new photography for months now.

Actually, that's not entirely true, because I have been doing indoor tabletop product photographs of my wife's pottery, for her website, and promotional pictures for her Instagram and craft fairs etc.

I don't like doing indoor tabletop product photography. You have to control absolutely everything in order to produce an image that's already in your head—or in this case, in J's head. I don't really know what I'm doing, and I don't think I'm creative enough before taking the pictures to think of much, but she seems happy enough with the things I bodge up.

And, you know, she's my wife so I have to do it, and at least I am using my camera.

I was doing a bookmark tidy up in my web browser and found one to my page on the Pixels print sales store. There were only five pictures still sitting there for sale. I (or they) have never sold one.

I added a couple more pictures, and I adjusted the pricing while I was there. I think it now makes a nice portfolio of calming images.

Has it sparked anything off? I don't know. Autumn is gradually creeping into the year now, so there'll be plenty of colour about. All it really comes down to is if I'm feeling up to carry the extra weight of the camera gear about with me.

You can find the pictures for sale here: Pixels Store

This is one I added.
